INFORMATION

The 2018 Armada Holly Days Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018. The parade will begin promptly at 6:30PM.

If you interested in participating please download and fill out the application. Applicants may email or mail their applications by Friday, November 23, 2018. Information is needed by the deadline to complete the lineup, prep narrative for announcers, and purchase food. Your timely submission helps volunteers avoid taking time off work.

The Christmas Parade is run and organized the Armada Lioness Club and the Parade Chairman can be reached via phone or email below.

RULES

No live Santas & No political entries

No live fire on floats

For safety reasons, no pedestrians will be allowed in the parade without consent of the parade committee.

No candy or other objects shall be thrown from the parade vehicles/floats.

All parade entries must be operated in a safe manner at all times.

Parade organizers reserve the right to remove any parade entry operated in an unsafe or dangerous manner.

ARRIVAL TIME & PLACE

Please arrive at the Armada Fair Grounds entry gate on Armada Center Road between 4PM-5PM on Saturday, December 1st. It is the first gravel driveway east of Orville C Krause Elementary 23900 Armada Center Road. This will be the only gate used for entry. At this time you will be given your line up number and instructions for line up.

ENTRY JUDGING

Begins promptly at 5:30PM. Entries will be lined up in the parade order upon entering the gate.

REFRESHMENTS

While you are waiting for the parade to start hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served at Grange Hall between 4PM-6PM. A restroom on the fair grounds will be open for use.

GASOLINE

You may want to have an extra can of gas for your generator, limit to 5 gallons please.
